Over two thousand Christians on Friday celebrated the feast of St Daniel Comboni at Holy Cross Parish Kauda in Heiban County of the Nuba Mountains.
The main celebrant said St Daniel Comboni who came all the way from Italy to Africa with great love Africans, Voice of Peace reported.
He urged the faithful to imitate the life of St Comboni to become good shepherds.
The celebrant recalled that many missionaries who came to Africa with Comboni died of many illnesses, but God spared the Saint for some time to accomplish his mission.
The priest urged Christians to carry on the work of St Daniel Comboni.
