Religious Superiors’ Association of South Sudan in collaboration with St Martin De Porres Brothers on Saturday will launch Human and Spiritual Formation Centre at Kit of Rejaf Parish in the Archdiocese of Juba.
The Association Chairman who is Comboni Missionaries Provincial Superior Fr Daniel Moschetti told CRN on Thursday that the centre would be for the formation of priests, brothers, sisters and lay people.
He added that the Centre would also serve as meetings place to facilitate development of South Sudan.
Fr Moschetti said the Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro is expected to officiate the opening of the Centre to be attended by a number of dignitaries including ambassadors.
The Chairman explained that the centre would be for the formation national leaders especially youths and women who are instrumental in the development of the young country.
He said the actual construction is expected to start in January with the first phase of two million US Dollars and projected to complete within two years.
Fr Moschetti said the Centre would be a great opportunity for the people of South Sudan because it is the first of its kind in South Sudan and Sudan.
He said the launch is part of the celebration of St Daniel Comboni feast.
