Women Training and Promotion Project Manager on Tuesday urged 30 chiefs in Western Bahr El Ghazal State to safeguard children and women at the grassroots level to participate in decision making processes in the country.

Muzama Asunta Justo challenged chiefs participating in United Nation Security Council resolution 1325 on management and implementation training to practise skills they acquired rather than singing demands for training for the sake of formality, Voice of Hope reported.

She explained that the three days’ training focused on human rights, leadership and gender sensitivity.

The training project targets women groups and that more training is expected to be conducted.
