Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS chairman on Wednesday said media structure is incomplete because Media Council is not established due to absence of laws.
Oliver Modi told journalists from Yei, Lainya and Morobo Counties that the Bills are now in the Office of the President waiting for his signature, Easter Radio reported.
Mr Modi described the mid December interruption to signing of the bills as ‘so unfortunate for the media sector’, hoping that the president would ink them into laws.
The chairman said the Bills include the Public Broadcasting Corporation, Access to Information and the Media Authority.
