The SPLM-N and Sahwa Revolutionary Council, led by Musa Hilal on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding agreed for joint action to establish a democratic system in the Sudan.
Jagoud Mukuwar signed for the SPLM-N and Ismail Agbash for El Sahwa signed on behalf of the Revolutionary Council, Voice of Peace reported.
The SPLM-N and the Council in a joint statement on Friday announced that they agreed to end war in all parts and bring down the autocratic regime in the Sudan.
In the MoU, the parties agreed to stop the policies of divide and rule and restore Sudan’s social fabric that Khartoum regime destroyed.
They also agreed to cooperate to establish a state based on good governance and citizenship, equal rights and duties for every Sudanese without discrimination.
They said their agreement would be realized through a comprehensive constitutional process conducive to change.
