The President of the Republic said federation should not bring conflict among citizens if it advances the development of the country.
Salva Kiir Mayardit while addressing the third independence anniversary celebration in Juba on Wednesday under the theme: South Sudan: One nation, one people’ said it was the citizens’ decision to choose the system of governance they think is better for the country.
He called on South Sudanese to unite to end war before it puts the country to an end.
President Kiir told people not to complain later again when federal system of governance is implemented as it happened in 1983.
The President told South Sudanese to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of federal governance and agree on them.
