Tetra Tech Company delegation on Thursday revealed a plan to assess and build trunk roads in Greater Equatoria.
Team leader, Michael Tim told the Acting Physical Infrastructure Minister Simon Ngbiidigi a plan to maintain 600 kilometres trunk roads and construct 400 kilometres feeder roads in Western, Central and Eastern Equatoria States, Anisa Radio reported.
Mr Tim said they would start in Western Equatoria because the climate was favourable and that the project that start with six months survey and designs would last for three years.
He said they would also offer capacity building to Physical Infrastructure ministry technical staffs on survey, design, construction, administration, specification and soil testing.
Acting Minister Ngbidigi appreciated the delegation for their commitment and determination for returning after the crisis that erupted in the country.
He expressed government’s commitment to ensure that development partners working in the state are secured.
