Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North negotiators are in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa for talks with the Sudanese government.

Spokesman for the negotiating team Mubarak Ardol told Voice of Peace on Tuesday morning that the delegation headed by Yasser Arman was already in Addis Ababa in response to an invitation by African Union High Level Implementation Panel, AUHIP mediators.

He said the first priority of the SPLM-N delegation would be to address humanitarian situation.

AUHIP chief mediator Thabo Mbeki earlier on suspended the talks after failing to bridge the positions of the parties on the agenda of negotiations.
