A truck carrying people on Thursday overturned between Kenyi and Limbe Bomas on Juba-Yei road leaving one dead and 14 others seriously injured.
An eyewitness Dada Bernard told Lainya County Traffic Officers that the accident was due to over speeding, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that the driver after losing control tried to brake for 72 yards but failed and jumped out of the vehicle.
A clinical officer Scopas Guya revealed that the deceased died because of brain damaged.
He added that the 14 victims were receiving treatment.
