Nzara Catholic Parish youths on Thursday went to the central market and hospital to preach peace to the business community and patients.
Youths Chairperson Baptist Kumbabeyo told Anisa Radio in a telephone interview that they preached about peace, unity, love and forgiveness among communities.
He added that they encouraged traders to close their shops every Sunday and go to pray.
Diocesan Youth Chaplain Gamboripai William Abbas said all Nzara Parish choir groups gathered on Wednesday for a two-day workshop in preparation for the feast of St Don Dosco on Friday.
He added that the youths learned about responsibilities, the life of Don Bosco, good marriage and peace.
Fr Abbas on Friday called upon all young people to unite and put God in the heart of everything.
