President Kiir visits wounded soldiers

The President of the Republic on Monday toured the Military, Police and Juba Teaching Hospitals to encourage the wounded soldiers of mid December crisis.
 
Salva Kiir Mayardit told the press at Juba Teaching Hospital that he visited the hospital to give courage to the wounded and congratulate the staff of the hospitals, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
The President said he did not visit the wounded soldiers since the incident started in Juba last year because of many commitments in the office.
 
President Kiir appreciated the work of the staff in the hospitals and encouraged them to continue with the spirit of humanity.
 
He promised to resolve the difficulties facing Juba Teaching Hospital including lack of transport for the medical personnel.
 
Health Undersecretary Matur Makur Koryom said the situation of the wounded soldiers was greatly improving.
