Malakal Diocese completely destroyed

Malakal Catholic Apostolic Administrator said the diocese was completely destroyed by December 15 unrest that started in Juba and spread to other parts.
 
Monsignor Roko Taban Musa told the faithful during his homily on Sunday at St Kizito Parish in Juba that all infrastructure built over the past eight years in Upper Nile, Unity and Jonglei states, was destroyed in one month, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He described the destruction as a great lesson to ‘power hungry’ leaders.
 
Monsignor Taban said it was time to withdraw bad habits of destruction, calling on the faithful to pray for the diocese of Malakal.
 
He urged South Sudanese to unite and avoid the example of belonging to Apollo, Cyprus, Paul and Jesus.
 
The Apostolic Administrator called on Christians not to follow destructive ideologies of the conflicting leaders.
