Juba Teaching Hospital Director General said one of the medical doctors was injured when robbers grabbed his bag and threw him to the ground, on a motorbike locally known as boda-boda.
Wani Lolik Lodu told CRN on Monday that the medical doctor was attacked three days ago when he was going to work.
The Director General said President Salva Kiir and health ministry authorities should resolve the difficulties facing doctors and nurses.
Dr Lolik said the only ambulance in service was only functioning during the day because it has no light.
The Director explained that electricity and water were constant problems.
