The UN Nations Assistant secretary General for Human Rights on Friday said recruiting of child soldier in South Suda would contitute violation of International law.
Ivan Simonoviae told journalists at UNMISS compound in Juba that those involved in the act would be held accountable.
He said the fighting turned into a horrifying humanitarian and human rights disaster with atrocities committed by both sides.
Mr Simonoviae said they received allegations of recruitment of child soldiers and that they were checking on the allegations.
The Assistant Secretary General added that the conflict was causing untold suffering of thousand civilians.
He said the crisis started as a political one but now taken as inter-ethnic dimension that urgently needed to be addressed.
