Yei Catholic Bishop urged Christians not to die full of sins.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe in his homily during the requiem mass of the late Monsignor Jocondo Anyugo said people should not die in a sinful way, but in the Lord to go to heaven, Easter Radio reported.
Bishop Lodu clarified that abandoning sins and evil by doing well results into forgiveness of sins at last.
He advised Christians to work for charity, mercy and solidarity.
Bishop Lodu appealed to people to abandon hatred, revenge and bitterness against other people.
He said God gave Monsignor Anyugo long lifetime on earth.
Monsignor Jocondo Anyogu who died on Wednesday aged 90 was laid to rest on Thursday at St Joseph Parish Lutaya of Yei Catholic Diocese.
