Kakwa Constitution needs local understanding

Central Equatoria State Governor Advisor on Conflict Mitigation said the Kakwa local people need to understand clearly their constitution before endorsing it.
 
Speaking during the opening of the Kakwa conference in Yei on Monday, Helen Mursali Boro said three quarters of Kakwa people should pass and recognize the Constitution, Easter Radio reported.
 
She clarified that the Constitution would cause argument if it was passed without the contribution of all Kakwa people.
 
South Sudan Kakwa community chairperson Thomas Wani Lo’bania revealed that the Constitution would be translated into Bari language before giving it to the local people.
 
The Kakwa conference that started on Monday concludes on Friday under the theme ‘Restoration of Kakwa cultural values’.
