Members of Warrap State Legislative Assembly complained to the Governor for appointing and swearing in new ministers without vetting and approval.

MP James Majok Deng told Don Bosco Radio in a phone interview that Nyandeng Malek appointed new ministers and sworn them into office without the House approval.

He said the new cabinet appointees should first go to the Assembly for approval.

He pointed out that without Assembly’s approval the appointed cabinet was illegal.

MP Deng said Governor Nyandeng violated the state Transitional Constitution by appointing and swearing in new ministers without Assembly’s endorsement.

He urged the entire community of Warrap State to be patient while they prepare to petition the governor.
