Yei Urban Water and Sanitation services announced plans to extend delivery of more clean drinking water to urban centre residents during the dry season.
the Company’s Managing Director Samuel Taban Kilombe said plans to install more water kiosks and pipes were on progress, Easter Radio reported.
Mr Kilombe called on private water operators to cooperate with the company to deliver clean water to consumers.
The Managing Director appealed to county authorities to demarcate residential areas to ease extension of water kiosks and pipes.
Last month Yei urban residents demanded delivery of clean water to prevent outbreak of water born diseases.
