A team of directors from the state ministry of Physical Infrastructure on Monday accompanied a Russian investor to assess the Yei-Lasu-Abba road.
Director of Road and Bridges Roman Morgan, who headed the delegation, said the Russian investor operates an oil refinery in Bentiu and wanted to construct a road from Bentiu to Juba and Yei to Lasu to export fuel to DR Congo, Easter Radio reported.
Engineer Morgan told the public that construction works will start early December.
He added that the contractor on the ground will continue with its work if the investors delay.
The delegations also visited Yei Civil Hospital and Kinji Secondary School to review the construction work.
Yei-Lasu road construction was started early this year but came to stand-still.
