Mvolo County in Western Equatoria State will have the first Catholic Church soon.
Mvolo Catholic congregation member William Friday on Sunday visited Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop to explain to him the procedures Christians took, Anisa Radio reported.
He said the new Catholic Church in Mvolo lacks Bibles, prayer and liturgical books, hymnals and other books.
Mr Friday appealed to the entire Catholic community in South Sudan, individuals and well-wishers to support the new church of God in Mvolo.
He added that they visited other Catholic dioceses seeking for help.
The new Mvolo church is expected to be under the Yei Catholic Diocese.
