Western Bahr El Ghazal State Governor was expected to announce his new cabinet in coming days after restructuring ministries.
A anonymous source told Voice of Hope that Rizik Zachariah Hassan last Tuesday told the ministers that ministries would be reduced from 12 to nine in line with the policy of lean government.
The source said the Governor thanked ministers’ efforts during their services and consoled them that those whose names did not appear should take it easy.
Governor Rizik took pictures with state ministers as a farewell, declaring that the state government will be dissolved soon.
The source said the Governor is currently engage in continuous meetings with Director-Generals over the restructure and reduction of the cabinet.
