Wildlife department on Thursday arrested two people for killing 11 gazelles in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Wildlife Officer Deng Mangok said two poachers killed 11 gazelles with traditional animal nets, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the two people were arrested but the third one escaped.
Mr Mangok said some people were illegally killing wild animals with nets and guns.
He warned people against illegal killing of wild animals.
Mr Mangok said wildlife generate revenues to the country.
