Wau Catholic diocese Justice and Peace Commission is concluding an ambassadors of peace training workshop for its committee members.
The training workshop that started in October 2012 aimed at educating members from five parishes to disseminate peace messages to their communities, Voice of Hope reported.
Commission Coordinator Natalina Andrea Mambo explained that the participants have already attended four workshops and will be awarded certificates.
She said this last workshop is discussing human rights monitoring and the Transitional Constitution.
Ms Andrea noted that the language barrier was the main challenge in the series of peace awareness workshops since 2012.
She said mobilization team did not reach some communities due to transport difficulties.
Ms Andrea called on communities and parishes to select committed people for the next training because some trainees left before completing.
The five-day workshop which started on Tuesday is the fourth in the sequence.
