Foreigners were warned about the misuse of business operation permits as work permits.

Yei River County Inspector of Information Ephraim Jomo Michael told Easter Radio that some foreigners who obtained business permits to operate in the county were looking for work.

He called on non governmental organizations to stop enrolling foreigners with business permits.

Mr Jomo said NGOs complained that South Sudanese underperform in terms of work and contract foreigners.

He told NGOs to change the malpractice.

Mr Jomo said the Labor Act allows foreigners to work for a training period of six months after which they should leave the jobs for nationals.
