Residents of Wau, in Western Bahr El Ghazal state, on Tuesday celebrated South Sudan’s second independence anniversary at the sport complex stadium.
United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS state coordinator Winnie Babihuga appreciated the people of South Sudan for having completed two years of hard work and peace building, Voice of Hope reported.
She described South Sudan as growing fast in nation building and South Sudanese are the people of great integrity and of good care.
Ms Babihoga explained that UNMISS is putting more efforts to help South Sudan to develop and deliver services to its entire citizens.
The UNMISS official called on all the people to continue working hard for the betterment of the future generations.
