The Sudanese air force conducted an attack on the area of Kudi in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains killing one person and injuring several members of the same family.
The Antonov carried out six successive strikes on Kudi destroying a house.A man said his daughter died in the pit where they were taking shelter next to the house bombed after they were completely covered by the debris from the house.
At least four children under seven years of age were injured, including their father.
Khalid Omar said everything in the house was destroyed except what they were wearing, including his children’s clothes for exams.
A nineteen-month old baby girl and three boys of four, five and seven years of age and their father Khalid Omar were injured in the bomb blast.
They were rushed to the local hospital and are receiving medical treatment.
