The Catholic Bishop of Yei called on the Christians to stop the tenders of evil.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe said people should stop fighting for material things and only accepts the gift of the Holy Spirit to realize real joy, Radio Easter reported.Bishop Lodu said the spiritual joy can only be overcome by denouncing all fighting for material things.
He pointed out that there were tenders of joy of drunkenness, stealing and useless practice of fornication.
Bishop Lodu explained that marriage is very rich with the present of the Holy Spirit and it bounds men and women once for all.
He encouraged the congregation to take baptismal vows with the same spirit of the Pentecost and to go to the whole world to proclaim the Good News.
Bishop Lodu made this statement on Sunday while presiding over the Eucharistic celebration marking Pentecost Day at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
