Catholics from the Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday got together from different parishes to clean Juba Teaching Hospital to mark the Year of Faith.

Charles Loboka Lomugun, who chaired the committee that organized the cleanup operation, told Bakhita Radio that the initiative came from the administration of the archdiocese as part of the Year of Faith programme.

He explained that the archdiocese organized the operation in coordination with the administration of the hospital and the Mayor’s office.

Mr Loboka said the archdiocese supplied the cleaning agents while the administration of the hospital guided the cleaning and supplied masks, gloves and bags.

The Mayor’s office provided some bags and the transport for the rubbish collected to the dumping site.

Mr Loboka said the administration of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba decided to put faith into action and the programme will continue during the celebrations of the Year of the Faith.
