Household registration started in Tonj South County of Warrap State last week.
Tonj Mayor Bol Ring Kerou told Don Bosco FM that the registration exercise started in Tonj Town.He explained that Tonj Town was divided into four sub-locations for registration and it has four community chiefs.
Mr Ring said the local community chiefs will help people solve their problems before they take their cases to the paramount-chiefs or to the police.
He added that each location will have one paramount chief in charge.
Mr Ring said each family pays 25 Pounds for its registration.
Tonj Mayor urged all the people to respect and cooperate with the committee of household registration.
