The Deputy Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State discloses that South Sudanese are tired of displacement and migration to different countries in search of peaceful places.

Zachariah Joseph Garang urges the citizens to have the spirit of commitment and unity among themselves and to reject and denounce things that cause conflict or misunderstanding so that we can live in our country without thinking of leaving again.

“we should accept our people who are coming from Sudan and make them feel comfortable because they are displaced by conflict.” Garang said.

He expresses the need for the community to offer a helping hand until they can help themselves alone.

He adds that anything that causes conflict or misunderstanding among people should be rejected or avoided and focuses on things that bring people together.

“Anything that takes us back, anything that brings confusion among the community is not needed.”

The top state official was speaking to the Christians on Monday during the New Year Mass at Saint Mary’s help of a Christian church in Wau.
