A man thought to be ambusher has been killed along Torit Kapoeta road Thursday last week.
According to Torit East County Commissioner Toby Majak Thomas, the man was going to his village when he was attacked and got killed while on self-defence.
The Commissioner says the government has set laws that govern unnecessary movement with guns by civilians.
He calls on the civilians to put down their guns and let soldiers to curb issues of insecurity in the state.
‘The county Authority has ordered if anybody is found with gun on the road at day or night he can be shot. Such cases are happening because of many Guns on hands of civilians I urged every civilian leave guns to the soldiers.’
The commissioner spoke during an exclusive interview to Radio Emmanuel in Torit.
