The Chinese government has handed over seven new buildings of Juba Teaching hospital to the national ministry of health on wednesday.

Health Minister Dr Riek Gai describes the aid as the first new born baby in the country.

He urges medical personal to manage and operate the modern equipment well.

Vice President Dr James Wani Igga says the hospital will reduce expenses from the ministry of finance to send government officials outside the country for treatment.

He calls on South Sudanese to stop going to other countries for treatment because the hospital is capable.

Dr Wani urges Doctors and any health worker not to operate the equipment when they are drunk.

He says the government must increase the salaries of medical personal instead of giving money to treat government officials outside South Sudan.
