Non-violent Peace Force trains youth on life skills in Rumbek

Non-violent Peace Force organization on Thursday concluded two-day youth training on life skills in Rumbek, Western Lakes State.
 
Youth Protection Officer John Malou Ater says the workshop aimed at empowering young people to cope with stresses through life skills, Good News Radio reports.
 
He believes that the training will help youth to change the mind sets of communities who were engulfed by mental illnesses in the state.
 
Malou urges the youth people to exercises the skills given to change their daily living and their society.
 
Some trainees appreciate Nonviolent Peace Force organization for life skills and promise that they will use the skill to change community attitudes from behaviours of conflict to peace. 
 
The two-day training brought together youth protection teams from the counties of Rumbek North and Centre.
