The founder of Kembe Music International publishes his revolutionary book detailing about the musical life and future plan for musical development in South Sudan.
Dean of College of Arts, Music and Drama at University of Juba, Dr. Justin John Billy says the book is specifically about Emmanuel Kembe’s musical journey.
Dr Billy says through arts and music, Kembe managed to express the challenges the country is going through despite hardship.
He adds that Kembe’s songs encourage South Sudanese not to give up in their struggle to defend the country.
Billy says the book is written in Arabic language and now they are working to translate it to English.
The revolutionary book is categorized into three contents; songs for war, the peace agreement and songs for the separation.
