Governor calls for humanitarian aid intervention in Kapoeta

The Governor of Kapoeta is appealing to national government and humanitarian agencies to intervene with the looming hunger in his state.
 
Louis Lobong Lojore says, his state again will continue to witness hunger due to failure in crops that comes as a result of too much rain. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
Governor Lobong affirms that majority of the population in Kapoeta State is likely to go hungry due to flooding resulting from heavy rains that washed away crops.
 
The governor was talking to the media in a telephone call from Kapoeta on Monday.
