The national police spokesperson says the absence of Pension Act in the country has delayed the 2012-2015 police transformation program.
Daniel Justin Boulo says the transformation program was designed to relieve long serving officers and others with disabilities from the police service and replace with fresh ones. Bakhita Radio reports.
He says the process is affected by the lack of the act in which some members are to be relieved.
Daniel stresses out that the program begun with capacity building of top staff in the police.
President Salva Kiir recently blames police and other security operatives in the country of misbehaving towards civilians.
