Yei Teachers Training College opens branch in Yambio

Yei Teachers Training Institute opened its branch in Yambio, Gbudue State, says Director-General of Ministry of Education.
 
Gibson Francis Waru reveals that in the past years, they were sending their teachers to Yei, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He says now the College established in Yambio will train many in-service and out-service teachers in the state.
 
Francis says this will make young teachers to have full knowledge and educate learners professionally.
 
He explains that the Institute will train teachers for three years and get certificates after graduation.
 
The Director-General says the College will recruit competent students with senior four certificates.
 
The trainees will come from Tombura, Maridi and Gbudue States, he adds.
 
He encourages female students to join the Institute to have bright a future and become professional teachers.
 
He made the remarks on Monday at the State Ministry of Education in Yambio.
