Wau Catholic Diocesan Administrator encourages citizens to continue praying with all their hearts for lasting peace in South Sudan.

Fr Marko Mangu says peace is not something easy that can simply be achieved, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

The authorities always need to be directed by God to work for the benefit of the people of South Sudan, he added.

It is important to have hope in God as the giver of true peace Fr Mangu advises.

The administrator notes that it is also a collective role to pray for the authorities in the government and Church.

Fr Mangu points out that divisions and hatred will not help people, but all should embrace the culture of unity as South Sudanese.

The Diocesan administrator made the remarks on Wednesday during the gathering organized by CEPO for peace in Wau.
