True Christians must be able to bring their children for baptism for their faith to grow, says a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Torit.
Fr Kamilo Afore, Pastoral Coordinator on Sunday preached at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Parish that Christians need to have names to become children of God and the Church, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The priest advises Christians to avoid giving wrong names that do not portray Christianity to their children during Baptism.
Continue proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ as the scripture says, Fr Kamilo tells the faithful.
He says Jesus Christ ascended to heaven leaving the Holy Spirit to continue guiding the Church and her followers.
