Priests in the Catholic Diocese of Torit are meeting for a monthly spiritual recollection at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Diocesan Administrator, Fr Kamilo Afore, says the recollection is to call for the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen priests in their service, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Recollection is a moment of silence and prayer where priests reflect on their faith and have direct communication with God, he adds.
The monthly retreat is to renew spiritual work of the Church ministers, explains Fr Noel Ogwagu, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Holy Rosary.
He advises priests in and around the diocese to ask God in silence.
The recollection comes every last Saturday of the month for all parishes.
