Leprosy and tuberculosis section have new buildings that will replace the tents.

Administrator Joseph Makuwasi says the leprosy and tuberculosis patients are running out of space, Radio Voice of Peace reports.

A number of patients are being accommodated in tents.

He explains that there were delays in transporting the building materials; but now that they have arrived, the work will be completed soon.

Construction Manager, Younan Abdallah, wants the building to be completed soon despite interruption from rainfalls.

He appreciates the 79 workers of the 23-metre long building.

The Leprosy and TB patients express their joy for the new permanent building.

The patients complain that the rainfall in Nuba Mountains and wind is consistently making live uncomfortable in the tents.

The hospitals administration concludes that it is planning to build more rooms for its increasing patients with the work starting by June.
