The State Ministry of Health in Wau urges citizens in the area to keep their environment clean to prevent cholera outbreak.
Wau is at risk of the epidemic disease after the outbreak and dead of more than 20 people in its numbering state of Tonj, says Bona Gaudensio Wol, State Minister of Health.
People should clean their houses and maintain good hygiene to prevent the disease, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He adds that they have activated the cholera task force committee to help control it.
Minister Gaudensio says although cholera is not a common disease in Wau State, people should still prevent its outbreak.
The minister made the remarks at State Ministry of Health.
