The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure in partnership with SSUHA and Terre Des Hommes is launching rehabilitation of roads with Yei town.
Denis Lasuba Paul, County Commissioner of Yei thanks the ministry and the partners for working together to repair the roads, Radio Easter reports.
Terre des Hommes Field Coordinator in Yei, Eduardo de Francisco, says their role is to put pieces together and connect fund from Europe to their counterparts and the implementing NGOs.
Terre des Hommes is only concern with the need of the population, he stresses.
The project money was to be given free to help youth and women, but the ministry thought wise to give the money in form of work, Jacob Aligo, Minster of Physical Infrastructure reveals.
The project of the road rehabilitation has now created employment opportunity for 2,000 people, each earning 100 pounds a day.
