Eagle Air Plane crushed in Yei

A plane belonging to Eagle Air, a Ugandan based Air Company crushed on Saturday morning when it was taking off from Yei air strip to Arua.
 
The plane which contained 17 passengers and three crew members, crushed due to technical failure, Radio Easter reports.
 
Richard Taban, one of the survivors, says no death occurred during the crush.
 
He thanks God for saving their lives.
 
Captain Caxton Mukasa says a team will be formed in Kampala to investigate the matter.
 
Jacob Aligo Lo-Lodu, State Minister of Physical Infrastructure says the cause of the incident will be communicated later.
 
The passengers were then transported to Arua by another plane belonging to the same company.
