Sacred Heart Parish Tonj of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek on Wednesday celebrated the Feast of Saint Don Bosco.
The ceremony started with Eucharistic celebration and followed by football match competition, quizzes and other games among youth, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Parish Priest Paul Antimi tells the congregation that the life of St Don Bosco was marked by Divine progress and presence of Blessed Virgin Mary.
He urges youth not to wait for things to happen automatically, but imitate the life of St. John Bosco that was full of sacrifices.
The Salesians assured the faithful that Don Bosco was a hard worker and people should follow his legacies.
St John Bosco was born in 1815 and died on January31, 1888.
