The mayor of Tonj municipality on Tuesday issued an order for the closure of some courts in the Municipality to avoid confusion.

Joseph Anei Madoor says the courts are to be restructured according to the Local Government Acts, Radio Don Bosco reports.

The Mayor says the many courts in the Municipality confused the population and police cannot handle cases in an organized way.

He clarifies that there will be consultation with state high court to maintain some courts.

Anei reveals that those who are going to run the new courts will attend a seven-day workshop.
