St Theresa’s Cathedral Parish in partnership with the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is training youth on peace and reconciliation.
Parish Priest Fr Thomas Iga Tadeo calls on young people to share the knowledge acquired with those in other chapels, Radio Bakhita reports.
Meanwhile, Fr Victor Roba Bathelomeo, the Parish Youth Chaplain tasks the youth to build peace within their hearts before imparting to others.
Fr Roba says most South Sudanese have trauma of war and that there is need for peace, healing and reconciliation.
Thomas Wani Gore, St Theresa’s youth chairman calls on the trainees to put the knowledge they learnt into practice.
The two-day training is expected to conclude this Saturday.
Over 60 youth from different chapels are participating in the capacity building session.
