Public transport from Torit resumed on Friday morning as hundreds of passengers were boarding for Juba.
A passenger at Omoliha Bus Park said they have no option but risk, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Another passenger, Loboi Antony, said there is no safe road in South Sudan, but he was determined to reach Juba.
Torit Police Inspector, Colonel Caesar Oromo, warned passengers that Torit- Juba road could still be dangerous following Wednesday’s attack.
Oromo said they are planning to improve security on the Torit-Juba road.
