Boda-boda riders in Yei are not happy for operating on loss after they testified that some people do not want to pay the fare for a lift.
They complained that some soldiers do not want to pay their lift and often claim that they have not received salaries for months, Radio Easter reports.
While some riders expressed unhappiness for being called ‘rebels’.
Meanwhile Deputy Mayor, Azariah Khamis Noah, advised the riders to immediately report misbehaviours of individual soldiers to the authorities for action.
He urged the riders not to join politics, but operate their businesses to sustain their living.
The deputy mayor and the riders were speaking during a meeting at Yei Freedom Square on Saturday.
