The Ministry of Education has held an annual education census for 2016 in Yei.
The consensus workshop convenes together head teachers from nursery, primary and secondary schools as Radio Easter reports.
Representatives from tertiary institutions and Accelerated Learning Programs or ALP centres have also attended the session.
Alice Kiden, an official from the Data and Statistics in the national Ministry of Education says the census helps the government in planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
Meanwhile, head teachers have welcomed the census, saying it contributes to equal delivery of services.
Philip Taban Issa, the Acting Education Director in Yei River County says supervision will be carried out in all schools.
